What we could be if we knew is a political theater project based on documenting and fictionalizing the history of workers` resistance movements in Romania from 1918 to 2000. It is a political fairy tale in which the utopical and the realistic dimensions of history are intertwined in order to dramatically represent the revolted actions which contested breaches in fundamental rights and the negation of certain social classes and which, through their radical acts, marked the 20thcentury. In What we could be if we knew, histories which have been minimized, underrepresented, insufficiently explored and artistically developed, become emblematic for the cohesion of workers who fought for their rights and public representation.
